Nazlı Hilal Altun is a digital strategist focused on bioengineering and the deep tech ecosystem. Her passion for connecting science, technology, and entrepreneurship places her at the heart of innovation.

She was introduced to entrepreneurship during her Bioengineering BSc at İzmir Institute of Technology, which she began in 2018, where she discovered a strong interest in the commercialization of scientific ideas. Throughout her university years, she played an active role in İzmir’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and gained hands-on experience in digital design and marketing. In 2019, she joined the Hello Tomorrow Türkiye team, contributing to the deep tech ecosystem through social media and digital communications work.

Since 2020, she has built experience at a digital health startup, taking an active role in the commercialization and internationalization of health technologies, with a focus on accelerating the path from scientific innovation to market impact.

After completing her undergraduate degree in 2022, she began her MSc in the same department. In 2025, she completed her master’s thesis by developing a nanoplasmonic biosensor platform for the early detection of HIV, with a research focus on nanotechnology, microfluidic systems, and gold nanostructures.

Today, through her work at Hello Tomorrow Türkiye and her entrepreneurial experience, she continues to support the growth of health-tech and deep tech startups.
