Making Art with Science and Technology

Hello Tomorrow Turkey

CENTQUATRE-PARIS is a platform that brings together people and artists from all over the world. It is located in the 19th district of Paris.

This stage, which I likened to "the inside of my brain" while sharing on my social media accounts, was exactly the reason I was there for this work.

Because as a communicator of a team striving to shape the future, I was inside a summit that inspired me every second. Just behind me, science and technology were also creating art.

The Hello Tomorrow Global Summit was taking place.

Let me briefly list the speakers and the general flow of the event; I suggest you Google it when you have some time. You can visit here for the main outlines of the event.

Over the course of two days, leaders and innovators of the deep-tech ecosystem from different fields took the stage in 4 separate halls (Main Stage, Deeptech Academy, Startup Showcase, Challenge Stage). At this event, which could inspire anyone in their own life, let alone entrepreneurship, technology or innovation;

  • Dr. George Church, known as the founder of synthetic biology from Harvard University, presented "Bringing extinct species back to life through genetic engineering"

  • Heike Riel from IBM Research Frontiers discussed "Unleashing the power of Quantum Computing" in the field of quantum computing

  • Andras Forgacs from Modern Meadow talked about new materials with "Biofabrication transforming the world of materials"

  • Joanna Bryson, one of the pioneers of artificial intelligence, addressed the ethics of AI with "Studying AI’s ethical challenges"

These topics stood out. These are what I could fit here.

This summit is being held for the 5th time in the world. From the speech made by its founder Xavier Duportet at the end of the award ceremony, we learned that by the 5th edition of this summit, a total of 20,000 projects were funded, while 2,500 entrepreneurs participated in these summits. 25 of these received awards, and during this process, these initiatives secured 300 million Euros in investment.

"Miracle" or "Science"?

Being able to make a paralyzed person walk again, turning sounds into codes, making sanitary pads from banana peels... I want to examine these more closely every day and share them with you. What I’m saying is that what we think is "impossible" today will become the products & services we will acquire tomorrow. The "Hello Tomorrow" is signing off on a miracle every day to watch the trailer of the future.
