The Grand Winner is…

Hello Tomorrow Turkey

The winners of the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge, which received over 4500 applications from 119 COUNTRIES, have been announced!


The Hello Tomorrow Global Summit, where startups changing the world competed to change the future, has concluded. Over the course of 2 days, 3500 participants from around the world competed on the Challenge Stage while the best deep tech startups were selected at four different venues, including the Main Stage, DeepTech Academy, and Startup Showcase!


The winners in 12 categories are:

 

CATEGORY: AVIATION

Bound4Blue (Spain)

Thanks to its rigid-wing system that reduces fuel consumption and environmental impact on every vehicle from tankers to fishing boats, Bound4Blue was selected as the winner of the “Aviation” category and received the category championship award from Air France KLM.

 

CATEGORY: DATA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Insightness (Switzerland)

Insightness develops high-efficiency computer vision systems that provide 3D interaction for smart devices like drones, phones, AR, and VR, and received the award from Hello Tomorrow as the winner of the “Data and Artificial Intelligence” category.

 

CATEGORY: DIGITAL HEALTH

RxAll (Nigeria)

RxAll, which was selected as the winner of the “Digital Health” category from WeHealth by Servier, provides a digital platform that allows everyone to test the quality of their medications using a personalized IoT nanoscanner and mobile application.

 

CATEGORY: ENERGY

Coreshell (USA)

Coreshell Technologies, selected as the winner of the “Energy” category and receiving the award from Air Liquide, manufactures innovative thin-film coatings for lithium-ion batteries (LIB) to increase energy density and safety, thereby reducing energy storage costs.

 

CATEGORY: FOOD, AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT

Fauna Photonics (Denmark)

Fauna Photonics is developing an intelligent sensor solution aimed at the agricultural sector for mapping insects, helping farmers reduce their dependency on chemicals while increasing their yields. They received the award as the winner of the “Food, Agriculture and Environment” category from Invivo.

 

CATEGORY: GLOBAL HEALTH

X-Therma (USA)

X-Therma, the winner of the “Global Health” category, received an award from Bayer. X-Therma is developing highly innovative chemical technologies to solve the long-standing problem of cold storage in the transportation of biological cells, tissues, and organs.

 

CATEGORY: INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY

Dust BioSolutions (Germany)

Dust BioSolutions, which received the award in the “Industrial Biotechnology” category from DSM, develops environmentally friendly technologies that help industries control one of the biggest harms to our health and environment, dust pollution, in a cost-effective manner.

 

CATEGORY: INDUSTRY 4.0

Echoring (Germany)

EchoRing, which received the “Industry 4.0” award from Hello Tomorrow, is developing software technology that provides deterministic and real-time wireless communication (up to 1 ms) with Ethernet-like performance.

 

CATEGORY: NEW MATERIALS

Soundskrit (Canada)

Soundskrit manufactures microphones that significantly improve sound recognition and capture. The company’s patented microphone membrane can isolate sounds coming from multiple directions with just a single microphone without compromising on size or quality, and can detect its position. They received the award as the winner of the “New Materials” category from Solvay.

 

CATEGORY: MOBILITY

NiveauUp (Taiwan)

NiveauUp, which received the “Mobility” award from Novares, makes it possible to have LI-ion battery cells that charge extremely quickly. Thus, batteries can be charged 10 times faster, for 3 times longer, and are lighter.

 

 

CATEGORY: NEW SPACE

Atomos (USA)

Atomos, which received the “New Space” award from ArianeWorks, ArianeGroup, and CNES, is building a fleet of spacecraft to transport satellites and other objects using effective electric power between orbits and other locations. Their vision is to become the logistics provider for the solar system!

RxAll (Nigeria)

RxAll, the winner of the Digital Health category, was selected as the grand winner of Hello Tomorrow!
